MSPA-CPSP BHSc (Speech Pathology)

Lucy is a Senior Speech Pathologist with extensive experience supporting infants and young children with complex feeding and swallowing difficulties. Having worked within neonatal units in acute hospital settings, she has supported babies and their families from the very beginning of their feeding journeys through to their transition home. This experience has given her a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by medically complex infants and their families.

Lucy has a particular passion for working with babies and children under two years of age and specialises in the assessment and management of:

• Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding difficulties
• Inefficient sucking, swallowing and feeding coordination
• Swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
• Oral aversion and feed refusal
• Transitioning to solids

Lucy provides evidence-based, family-centred care and works closely with families to develop individualised feeding plans that align with their goals and priorities. Her focus is on helping children develop safe, positive feeding experiences while empowering families with the knowledge and confidence to support their child’s feeding journey.
