Please contact your preferred pharmacies to check the availability of your child’s medication.

This must be done either on the business day before submitting your Request Form or attending your appointment, or on the same day.

Medication Availability Check – Important Instructions 

If your pharmacy does not have the prescribed medication, please ask the pharmacist about suitable alternatives before submitting your Request Form or attending your appointment. You must also check the availability of all the following medications and their strengths, regardless of what your child’s prescription is for:

• Concerta
• Ritalin
• Ritalin LA

Written Information About Medication 

Please provide your paediatrician with written advice detailing the current availability of these medications, based on the information given by the pharmacists.

Consultation May Be Required

In some cases, a face-to-face, telehealth, or phone consultation may be needed to discuss your child’s medication and prescription options.

Billing & Availability Notice

Your paediatrician will assist in finding alternatives, but cannot guarantee a successful outcome.

The service fee for managing prescription requests is payable regardless of medication availability.

If you cannot find the prescribed medication for your script renewal, please complete the following Request Form.
