SA Paediatrics and Newborns (SAPAN) – Jessie Harris

Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Postgraduate Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Jessie is an experienced physiotherapist with a special interest in paediatric pelvic health, supporting children and teens who experience continence issues, constipation, soiling, and other pelvic floor-related challenges. She brings deep clinical expertise alongside a warm, family-centred approach.

Jessie has completed advanced postgraduate training in pelvic physiotherapy through the University of Melbourne, equipping her with the tools to understand and treat complex pelvic concerns in children and adolescents. She is passionate about empowering both children and their families, focusing on education and practical self-management strategies that restore confidence and improve quality of life — both now and into adulthood.

Jessie also treats adults and children with persistent pain, musculoskeletal, or pelvic conditions through her work at Vital Core Physiotherapy.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys cooking and exploring the outdoors with her young family.

Jessie can help with:

  • Bowel problems: Constipation (including straining, hard stools, or faecal retention) and soiling (encopresis)

  • Bladder issues: Daytime wetting, bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis), urinary urgency, and difficulty emptying the bladder

  • Pain management: Painful periods, endometriosis, or PCOS

  • Functional toileting concerns: Congenital pelvic anomalies, and interoception or sensory challenges related to ADHD or ASD

Sam sees children with all types of gastrointestinal or liver problems. He has a keen interest in inflammatory bowel disease and allergic gastrointestinal disorders. Find out more about SAPAN Paediatric Gasteroenterology here.
